Cookie Policy

Last updated: 20 July 2026

This policy explains how Shadow Judge uses cookies and similar technologies in your browser.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We use them, and similar local storage, to make the service work and to remember your choices between visits.

2. Essential cookies

These keep you signed in, keep your session secure, and let the app function. The service cannot work properly without them, so they are not optional while you use it.

3. Preference storage

We also remember low-risk preferences, such as your light or dark theme and, during a debate, the credential that lets you return to your seat if you close the tab. This stays in your browser and is not used to track you across other sites.

4. Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the essential ones, parts of the service, including signing in, may stop working.

5. Changes and contact

This policy is issued by Syllogy Labs Inc., the operator of Shadow Judge. We may update it as the service evolves. For any question, write to privacy@shadowjudge.com.
